Quick Overview

When you call a bike the Cream, it better be special. Meet the most advanced, highly engineered titanium mountain bike on the market. We don’t rush anything at Spot. The Cream took three years of meticulous R&D, countless test rides and prototypes to perfect. All the painstaking attention to detail paid off with something truly unique: a titanium speedster that whips up the trail with the agility and grace that you expect from Ti, yet also shreds down the hill with unparalleled confidence, precision and strength. We sourced a custom blend of the highest quality Ti tubing and then bent, ovalized, heat treated, shaped and massaged every inch to minimize flex here, enhance it there, add firmness and durability where needed, increase suppleness and fluidity elsewhere. See that curve atop the downtube? That swoop not only increases fork clearance but also strengthens the frame by more evenly dispersing stress on the headtube. We added Spot’s proprietary dual-tapered Animal Leg seatstays and a Time-Trial Cutaway seattube to enhance the Cream’s smooth Ti ride quality. You can feel the difference those subtle bends, cuts, and curves make when hammering in the saddle. Yet the bike remains stiff and confident when standing on the pedals.

Details

cnc-machined tapered headtube: Compatible with 1 ¼” to 1 ½” tapered steerer tubes. By machining the inside and outside of the tube, weight is saved and envying compliments are abound.

perfectly crafted miters and welds: Form meets function. A weld’s purpose is to join tubes while maintaining all of their initial strength. These welds are strong and stunningly gorgeous.

cnc-machined kobe slider 142×12 dropouts: These patented dropouts are precisely CNC machined to achieve unparalleled strength-to-weight, and in a small package. Simply the best belt-compatible dropouts in the world. Through axles front and rear, with the option to run a rear derailleur capable dropout slider.

gates gentertrack belt drive: Next generation Carbon Drive System. Unique, super-strong, carbon-reinforced polyurethane system that requires no lube and provides a nearly silent ride. CenterTrack is stronger, lighter, more compact, and better at shedding debris than the prior Gates systems.

proprietary tubes: These custom tubes are tapered, bent, formed, ovalized and heat-treated. All this effort and development cost is to create snappy handling and pedal response while maintaining the classic absorbing capability of titanium. Plus, this frame is a looker!

three years of development: Why rush a dream bike? We have been fine-tuning this bike for three years to create a ride performance that we didn’t think was possible. But with every milestone came more innovation. This is the culmination of persistence and patience.
